Drostanolone Propionate
Chemical Characteristics
Masteron Drostanolone propionate is a modified form of the masculine hormone dihydrotestosterone. An ester enantonic acid is bonded to a 17-beta hydroxyl group. These modified forms are not as polar as free hormones which generates a slower absorption into the bloodstream. Once in the bloodstream the enanthate ester is separated from the drostonalonaesteroid making it free and active. This type of esterified steroid is designed to prolong the effect of the hormone in the body requiring less applications in comparison to those steroids that are not esterified. The half life of drostanolone enanthate is approximately 8 days.
Side Effects
Drostanolone propionate does not have the ability to aromatize in the body, meaning it does not metabolize into estrogen. Like all androgenic anabolic steroids drostanolone enanthate suppresses the function of the hypothalamus axis-pituitary-gonadal decreasing the production of endogenous testosterone, with prolonged use the individual could develop hypogonadism. The problems caused by the androgenicity are very low making this steroid very safe to use. When high doses are administered the side effects commonly found are acne and oily skin. Although drostanolona enanathe is injected intramuscularly it does not have negative effects on the liver making this a safe substance to use.
Raw Material
Drostanolone propionate is a white fine powder, easy to compress, stable in normal environmental conditions and have a very low melting point in comparison to other substances.
Finished Product
Drostanolone propionate is an oil base, generally a light yellow, transparent in colour. In normal concentrations this substance does not crystalize. Its viscosity in comparison to its concentration is not high. 100mg/ml and 275 mg/ml are commonly used with 20G and 21G needles.
